With the improvement of the quality of paper printing and packaging products, fully automatic flatbed die-cutting machines have been increasingly widely used in the paper packaging and printing industry. However, due to the lack of maintenance knowledge among operators, the machines have experienced numerous malfunctions, directly affecting the normal operation of production and resulting in increased production costs. Some maintenance points and knowledge of fully automatic flatbed die-cutting machine are provided for colleagues to exchange and share.
1.Dust prevention and cleaning
The die-cutting machine generates a large amount of waste paper edges and paper fibers during operation, which can accidentally enter the chain transmission part, die-cutting part moving platform, and some rotating and moving parts, and block the photoelectric detection head, causing malfunctions. Therefore, the cleaning of the die-cutting machine body must be given top priority.
2. Oil and refueling
The die-cutting machine must have good lubrication and cooling during high-speed operation (6000 sheets/hour). Be sure to choose high-quality engine oil to protect the main transmission parts of the die-cutting machine. In addition, there is an intermittent mechanism box on the transmission side of the machine, where the oil used is more viscous. After the new machine starts running, the main transmission parts and intermediate mechanism boxes should be completely replaced after 3 months, and thereafter, they should be replaced every year.
3. Common troubleshooting
1) Mechanical failure: Fully automatic flatbed die-cutting machines often have the problem of tilting the moving platform, which is often caused by foreign objects falling into the die-cutting area. Generally, the position of the wedge block under the moving shaft should be reported first, and the moving platform should be rotated to the upper limit point to monitor its relative position with the upper stationary platform, ensuring that the four corners of the platform are equidistant from the upper stationary platform (where the die-cutting blade is clamped). This can solve the problem.
2) Electrical failure: As the central control of the fully automatic die-cutting machine is controlled by PLC, the main detection points, electrical switches, and output actions are all commanded by PLC, and its internal program is a ladder logic diagram. Therefore, when there is an electrical problem, maintenance personnel first need to understand the ladder logic diagram and then find the cause of the fault.
